Tristan und Isolde at the Opéra Bastille

René Pape returns to the role of König Marke in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde at the Opéra Bastille, after singing it at the prestigious Bayreuth Festival. The performances take place from September 11 – October 9.

Philippe Jordan leads the marvelous roster of artists, with Andreas Schager and Martina Serafin in the title roles, Matthias Goerne as Kurwenal and Ekaterina Gubanova as Brangäne.
