René Pape sings Dvořák’s ‘Biblical Songs’ on IDAGIO

Multi-Grammy Award winner René Pape makes his highly anticipated debut in IDAGIO’s Global Concert Hall, presenting Dvořák’s uplifting Biblical Songs. This intimate evening is filmed by his son – filmmaker and director Leopold Pape – at the Maria am Wasser Church in René’s picturesque hometown of Dresden.

The concert streams on March 27 at 8 PM (CET) and will also feature Pape himself reciting the texts, bringing the audience closer to the composer’s inspiration. Papae is joined by a fantastic group of instrumentalists, including pianist Katharina Pfeiffer, violinists Annekathrin Rammelt and Constanze Sandmann, violist Andreas Kuhlmann, cellist Christian Bergert, double bassist Andreas Dude, and oboist Arnfried Falck.
