Staatsoper Berlin ‘Tannhäuser’ now available on DVD

The 2014 Staatsoper Berlin production of Tannhäuser, featuring René Pape as Hermann, is now available on DVD. This critically acclaimed release can be purchased via Amazon.de, and features a spectacular cast including Peter Seiffert in the title role, Peter Mattei as Wolfram, Ann Petersen as Elisabeth, and Marina Prudenskaya sings Venus. Daniel Barenboim leads the Staatskapelle Berlin in this Sasha Waltz directed production.
