August Open Air performances

René Pape performs in two Open Air concerts this month, first at the Weinviertler Festspiele as König Marke in Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, and then at the Opening Concert of the Seebühne in Dresden.
Pape will sing König Marke on August 19 at the Weinviertler Festspiele with Christian Voigt as Tristan, Radostina Nikolaev as Isolde, Thomas Gazheli as Kurwenal and Kethy Tavardi-Davis as Brangäne. Matthias Fletzberger conducts the Ambassade Orchester Wien and Chor der Weinviertler Festspiele.
On August 28, René stars in the Opening Concert of the Seebühne in Dresden, a weekend full of art, culture, and entertainment. Pape will join conductor Heiko Mathias Förster and the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra in a thrilling program of Mozart, Verdi, Gounod, Dvořák, among others.
