René Pape returns to the Staatsoper für Alle

The Staatsoper für alle is an annual open-air concert that has been held in the heart of Berlin since 2007, and has become one of the most successful events in the cultural calendar of the city. This year’s concert will take place on September 6.
Daniel Barenboim conducts the Staatskapelle Berlin, the Staatsopernchor and an all-star soloist ensemble featuring Julia Kleiter, Waltraud Meier, Andreas Schager and René Pape in Beethoven’s Symphony No.9, as well as his Egmont Overture and his Romances for Violin No. 1 and 2 with Anne-Sophie Mutter as the soloist.
The concert will be recorded by ZDF and broadcast on September 13 at 10:15 pm as well as livestreamed at www.staatskapelle-berlin.de and www.staatsoper-berlin.de.
